About the role

PT Kartika Sari Indonesia is seeking a Purchasing Staff to join our team in Bandung, West Java. As a Purchasing Staff, you will play a key role in our Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics operations, responsible for overseeing the procurement of materials and managing our inventory. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth within our dynamic organisation.

What you’ll be doing

• Negotiating contracts and managing relationships with suppliers to secure the best possible terms
• Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels to optimise stock and minimise waste
• Coordinating with production and logistics teams to ensure materials are available when needed
• Analysing purchasing data and making recommendations to improve procurement processes
• Ensuring all purchasing activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations

What we’re looking for

• Relevant experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing or retail industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting to identify opportunities for improvement
• A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a keen attention to detail
• Familiarity with inventory management best practices and systems
